Challenge / Brief
Beequo, a tech startup whose name comes from Bee + Ubiquitous, wanted to launch a platform that would revolutionize how geek and otaku communities find products. Their technology identifies real-time stock availability across physical shops in Spain, helping users locate the boardgame, toy, or collectible they are searching for.
The challenge was to design a bold and playful identity that spoke to a geek/collector audience while maintaining the credibility of a tech company.
Insight / Strategy
The identity needed to feel both fun and smart: approachable for gamers and collectors, while grounded in a sense of reliability and digital innovation. Our strategy focused on creating a visual language inspired by gaming culture, pixel aesthetics, and playful iconography, balanced with clean typography that ensures legibility in both digital and physical environments.
Creative Process
-
Developed a bright, tech-inspired color palette with references to gaming culture.
-
Explored iconography and symbols from geek universes (dice, controllers, collectibles).
-
Designed a versatile logotype that could scale from app icon to full brandmark.
-
Built a modular system adaptable for web, app, and community events.
Solution
A dynamic brand identity that feels playful, geeky, and connected to gaming culture.
A visual system that works seamlessly across digital platforms, events, and community content.
An identity that positions Beequo as both a tech solution and a cultural hub for the geek/otaku community.
